Belgian fashion designer Glenn Martens has been announced as the new Creative Director of Maison Margiela, succeeding John Galliano, who announced his departure from the brand in December last year.

Martens will also continue to serve as Creative Director of Diesel, and commented 'I feel extremely honoured to join the amazing Maison Margiela, a truly unique house that has been inspiring the world for decades'.
